Fuck Yeah The Beatles

photo of a Twin-Lens Reflex Camera

For those of you wondering what the SLR in “digital SLR” stands for, it’s Single Lens Reflex, which was an innovation that allowed a user to view ‘through the lens’ at the precise image you would be capturing. This was a problem brought about by standard viewfinder cameras which produced ‘parallax error,’ that is, the image in the viewfinder did not precisely match the image on the film. The twin lens reflex had an even weirder problem, not only was the image off slightly from that on the film, it was upside down. Still, these cameras were relatively easy to use compared to previous designs and were incredibly portable (in comparison to older models).

The user above is a Beatle by the way.
